am back from MYC which was really great fun. the topic was on 'Guidance' and it was great being reminded and challenged by God's word. i think the biggest challenge at MYC was if God's plan for the world is the marriage of his church to Jesus, then what am i doing with my life now. Am i going to have little affairs along the way and said to Jesus on the final day that really, even after all the affairs, he's still THE ONE. if it seems ridiculous to our human minds then how much more so would that be to our God. I think i was really challenged about how i live my life now. there were heaps of other things that i learnt at MYC but seein that i have music prac in 5 mins and i need to choose the songs, i might update more on it another day.
also congrats to Jo and YM on their engagement. so happy for the 2 of you!
in other news, we're going to Germany for 6 months in September....
