happy birthday mummy! we are only two-thirds of the way through this period of the year where we keep celebrating birthdays every fortnight. It starts with Dad's birthday on 19 January. This year we had a Korean BBQ at home and I baked a cake on the Sunday before his birthday. The next day, on his actual birthday, got a phone call from Dad to say we were going out for dinner so we headed to Wagaya in the city. Then a fortnight later, it's mummy's birthday. We went to Sambal last night, and tonight, Andrew cooked Coq au Vin and Joyce baked a cake (have to say dinner was excellent and Joyce actually did a fairly decent job of the cake considering she's probably never done it before). And in 2 weeks' time it's time to celebrate Andrew's birthday. OH yes, not to mention the few dinners in between because of Chinese New Year. 15 days of CNY! Seems like all we do is eat and eat and eat. and it makes it so hard not to get fat, fat fat!
