DIY blues

so it's been abt a week since my final exams were over and it's time to start doing more wedding prep stuff which has been a bit of a nightmare....spent the whole weekend trying to come up with a sample of the invite which we're DIY-ing.....i spent like 2 hrs trying to get the invite which in theory should have just printed straight out onto the paper....it looked fine on the computer i guess the only thing was that we had already had our paper pre-cut to size (courtesy of the guy i bought the papers from who cut them to size for us for a small fee of $3-$5)...so i thought it would be an easy job just to get the invite to print onto our pre-cut paper...except it didn't work out that way....spent 2 hrs....a whole 2 hrs just feeding paper through the printer and trying to get something to print on the invite except nothing printed out...at the end of 2 hrs i was almost in tears...hehe....until my prince charming, who assured me that "engineers solve the world's problems" would take over and get the invite done....so anyway after like less than half an hr....merrill figured out the problem and managed to get the invite to print and i was left looking like a blonde bimbo who didn't know how to get invites to print.....haha....oh well, at least one problem's been solved....so anyway spent the rest of the spare bits of our weekend getting the rest of the invite's formatting right....so much so that we had such little sleep coz of the late nights that i ended up walking into work like a zombie today but a little nap before dinner has done wonders and i feel much better now

now that uni's started....i can kinda count down to the wedding coz the wedding's week 14 so it's pretty easy to count....and i can foreseee that it'll be busy busy busy till the wedding....i've only got weekends free and so far the next few saturdays look busy...have to babysit, have birthday dinners to attend and Marcus & Polly's wedding as well, sundays are pretty much a goner coz of church, lunch, meeting up with pple and stuff like that....and Joyce just reminded me today that we have to go look for shoes soon coz the bridesmaids' dress fitting is like early April or something...guess i'll have to get Doreen to take care of that for me.....starting to stress and it's not very good....but somehow i feel as if i have no one to turn to for help coz everyone seems so busy as well
