so it's been ages since i've blogged but i guess lots of things have been happening...seem to have gotten myself into this depressive up and down mood recently which hasnt really helped things a lot....no mood to take initiative and do stuff...just wanna spend my time wasting my time...if that makes any sense....

i guess it's partly to do with the sense of disappointment that i'm feeling at the moment....might have something to do with it being almost at the end of the year and looking back over this year and the things that have happened....and somehow i feel that i haven't made much progress over this year...neither have i made much progress nor seen much progress in the lives of some people around me....i guess i feel kinda responsible for that but then again, in the end, it is God who gives the growth

have to get out this rut....

in other news, i've been asked to head up kid's church next year...which should be fun! and i've got alice from focus cantonese helping me with heading up creche...not like the both of us have much ideas of what to do etc but it's really exciting. went to koorong last night to do some shopping and went looking at the kids section and bought some children's bibles. i've realised this year that trying to explain things to kids at their level is not easy and sometimes it humbles me to find out that i still don't understand kids as much as i would like to, especially in terms of what they can or can't do, or can or can't understand....but hopefully, helping out at kids church will help me in that. then comes the headache of trying to find pple to help out at kids church but i guess the more immediate worry is the holiday program for the kids, coming up with something and looking for pple to help out. went for a training session last saturday on how to use craft and games in teaching children, and it was really cool coz we got to make a lion...hehe...not that my lion looks really like a lion...in fact he's kinda too floppy and his mane makes him look as though he's got permed hair....if i had a camera, i'd take a picture of it and post it here....which reminds me....we should start looking at cameras....basically, merrill had a canon powershot, a hand-me-down from his bro and we started lending it to people and now we have no idea who has it...it's probably been passed around the hands of ESFers countless times and so we're contemplating whether to ask for our camera back or to get a new one.
