am i unapproachable or something? it's like the 2nd time in the past few weeks where people have asked through other people who are currently helping out at kids church whether they can help out at creche. if you want to help out at creche then come and talk to me and ask me lah! rather than me having to find out through someone else (like Alice after they've approached the other helpers and then gone to Alice to ask) and then having to track you down to talk to you. not that i mind it, i don't. it's just that i'd rather they come talk to me. =(

also because of the fact that you're working with young children and it's a high commitment role (i.e. having to be there every Sunday morning on top of other things), we can't really let just anyone do creche just coz they like playing with kids. there's issues like the person's maturity, stability, maturity, responsibility, trustworthiness to consider. i have people to answer to. maybe i should start reigning in my kids church teachers and helpers and make sure they stop sort of offering to let A or B start helping out at kids church without A or B talking to me first.
